Hi everyone

This is a new student financial assistance scheme meant to help families during this economic downturn. Pls apply if you meet the eligibility criteria. Talk to me if you need clarification....

Eligibility Criteria

1.The eligibility criteria of the new MOE SSAS are as follows:

o Only subsidized Singapore citizen pursuing a full-time Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma course in ITE are eligible to apply;

o Students should have a gross monthly household per capita income (PCI) of ≤ $1,700.

o Students must have taken up existing financial assistance where available. For Nitec or Higher Nitec course, financial assistance includes the CDC & CCC-ITE Bursary and ITE Special Student Assistance Scheme (SSAS). For Diploma course, financial assistance also includes the loan schemes and MOE Bursary ;

o For students who are holding scholarships that are not sufficient to cover the total annual tuition fees and living expenses, these students can be considered for the MOE SSAS.

o Students must have utilized the available funds in their Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA).

2. MOE SSAS recipients can concurrently hold the CDC & CCC-ITE Bursary, ITE SSAS, MOE Bursary or other bursaries.

3. Students may apply for the MOE SSAS at any time of the academic year. The MOE SSAS is renewable at the start of the subsequent academic year. Recipients progressing to the next Academic Year may apply for the MOE SSAS again.

Audition - CeMTA Vocal Development / Fusion Live Band

Date: Sat 18 Apr 2009 (12.30pm) or Sat 25 Apr 2009 (12.30pm)
Venue: ITE College West (Clementi Campus), 6 Lempeng Drive, Level 1, Centre for Music & the Arts Dance Studio.

To Prepare for Vocal Audition

2 Songs of various languages and genres. English songs are recommended.

Requirement (FUSION LIVE BAND):

Able to sight read music scores and play a musical instrument (Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard or percussion).

Cheap and Good Hair Grooming

Hi Everyone !

Here's the info on the C&G hair grooming service provided..
As reminded.....unless you are a student registered under Business School - Hair Fashion & Design, you need to maintain the proper hairstyle....(???? refer to page 30 of your student handbook)

Location : Hair Fashion Design Training Centre (B01-05/06)
Day/time : Every Friday from 1pm

Appointments can be made by email --> hair_design@pfingo.com.

Charges for haircut is $5 to $7 depending on hair length.
Colouring services range from $16 to $32 depending on hair length.

The PC roadshow, organsied by ITE, is scheduled to take place from 12 to 15 May 09. Laptops from Fujitsu, Lenovov, Apple & Acer will be on sale then. Students who are interested to purchase the laptops, may apply for Opportunity Fund (eligibility Criteria applies) for subsidy

- DATE: 15 April 09 (Wed)
- TIME: 2:30pm - 5:30pm OR 7pm - 10pm- LOCATION AND VENUE: LaSalle SIA College of the Arts - Creative Cube
- BE PREPARED: You will learn a brief dance/movement combination. Wear form fitting dance attire that allows for full range of movement and wear appropriate dance shoes for any style of choreography.
- REQUIREMENTS: Selected performers will need to be available for all rehearsals and performance day between 21st to 23rd April.
